Simple Sundries specializes in simple, waste-free lifecare products for humans and homes.
Our home delivery refill service uses second hand mason jars which have a deposit.
All jars used in online bulk ordering are reclaimed and have a $1.00 deposit. Jars can be returned to Simple Sundries for store credit. Our jars get washed and reused and reused and reused. We take all packaging back including rags and essential oil bottles. If you have jars to return, they will be picked up during the delivery of your next order. An email will be sent with details.

Have questions about our products or processes and feel better shopping in person? Come see us. You can bring your own containers and pay by the ounce, smell our scents and get products scented directly. Members get 10% off all in-person purchases (!)

Simple Sundries partners with the Oregon Food Bank and local school food pantries to provide high quality, non-toxic and waste free lifecare products to families at no cost.
By being a Sustaining Member and contributing your salvageable waste to our Save, Refill, & Give Program, you are participating in actual carbon offset. You may have to buy peanut butter in a new plastic jar, but once you have that jar cleaned, refilled with dish soap and given to a local family, you are keeping that family from having to buy dish soap in new plastic.

Climate change is hardest on our vulnerable communities. In order to make real change we must include everyone.
The world is full of plastic garbage. This we already know. Most people want a better option for their plastic garbage rather than throwing it in the landfill. If corporations have taught us anything, it’s that they only care about money and not at all about the planet they are trashing with their garbage. They aren’t going to change their packaging so long as it’s making them money. We at Simple Sundries believe that the best way to stand up to these corporate bullies is to stop buying their products. Stop buying it, they stop making it right? But just doing it yourself and telling your coworkers to do the same just doesn’t feel like enough. We need to help everyone stop buying that plastic garbage, starting with the most vulnerable.
